CLIENT: Tartan HomesWith the economy softening in late fall 2008, Ottawa builder Tartan Homes decided that rather than retrench, it would take a proactive approach to the market by undertaking a re-branding exercise over the winter months in time for a launch at the beginning of the peak spring selling season. The initiative re-positioned Tartan as a progressive company building homes on solid ideas. Mediaplus developed the positioning strategy and creative and a new corporate brandmark. Medaplus rewrote and redesigned all of the firm’s vast amount of sales collateral. And we completely redesigned and rebuilt the company’s website – already considered one of the best in the industry – including rewriting all content and tags for search engine optimization. The new brand was launch with an integrated advertising effort combining online, newspaper inserts, print and radio.
