When the Genie Awards were staged at Ottawa’s Canada Aviation Museum, Mediaplus client Ottawa Tourism received commercial airtime (8 x :30) during the broadcast as part of its benefits as a host sponsor. Mediaplus created a spot exclusively for use during the Genies broadcast, using a romantic comedy movie trailer style approach.
